We began rather
unofficially in 1979 with a half Arabian
mare and my son Jason.
As a single
mom working time and a half as a nurse
to raise my son did not leave a lot of
wiggle room for horses. So with a
head full of dreams and heart full of my
love of horses we embarked on a journey
that has been full of the thrill of
victory when we won, and unfortunately
wracked by the agony of losing one of
our beloved horses as happens to every
horseman eventually.
In 1990 I met Jeff
McCarthy and fate intervened we married
and much to our delight in 1991 Jeffrey
Robert joined our lives. He is now 14
and a very accomplished horse person
thanks to his trainer Luann Lamon. In
August 2001 we moved out to our present
farm. Our broodmare band has grown to
seven mares, 5 Arabians, all halter
champions, one lovely pinto saddlebred
mare and a beautiful cremello quarter
horse filly who is a yearling now and
growing like a weed. She is by the
fabulous foundation quarter horse
stallion Wyo Blue Chips.
